Hello! I'm Oriel. In 2023, I earned a B.S. in Strategic Communication and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder with minors in Women and Gender Studies and Business. After graduating, I attended New York University's Summer Publishing Institute and now work as a Publicity Assistant at Basic Books/Seal Press, a nonfiction imprint of Hachette Book Group. As a proud first generation college graduate, I'm excited to volunteer at First-Gen Place and make navigating college life less confusing for students like me by helping create a supportive community centered around inclusion, access to resources, and mentorship. In my free time, I like to read, go to museums, watch documentaries and explore NYC!
