Hi, I’m Katarina! I’m a recent graduate of the College of William & Mary, where I studied History and Spanish. As both a first-generation and a transfer student, I’ve been through the college application process twice. Realizing how challenging it can be to apply for and navigate college as a first-generation student, I founded First-Gen Place with the goal of making college a more accessible space. When I’m not working with First-Gen Place, I love reading, practicing my Spanish, dreaming up plant-based recipes in the kitchen, and going on long hikes with my dog.
